Wicked Pilgrim Run II
The 2nd Installment of the infamous WPR kicks off June 22nd in Western Mass. Three days of hard charging rides, free camping and two wheel hijinks - all provided to you by your lovely friends at The Wicked Pilgrim Run
Whereas some west coast shows and poker runs entice participants with exotic chopper giveaways, smoked pork products or promises of time with members of Bon Jovi's inner circle, the WPR offers nothing of the sort. Haven't felt uncomfortable enough in your local watering hole? Have we got place for you to drink! Don't think people will appreciate your Taz tat? We've got that cover-up for you!

Mini-Motard Racing in Vermont
Yesterday marked the return of the New England Mini Moto racing series to the shifter kart track in Graniteville VT. Since it was the Memorial Day weekend, a lot of the regular riders couldn't make the scene, but we still had a fair turnout.
This series is for XR100 type bikes and we'll be racing at several tracks this year. The kart track is a nice paved road course with a ramp added to keep it interesting.
Some of the bikes and riders. Those XR's are not stock. Check out the front ends.
This is me and my bike.
FTW represent!
This is the start of the Premier Class heat race. I ran out of battery, but you'll see a complete lap. There's a pretty good elevation change after the ramp, uphill to the 90 deg left, then down the back straight to a nice left hand bowl onto the front straight. Fun track.

Montreal
I took a break from ice riding this weekend and went up to Montreal for their annual bike show. It's only a couple hour drive and there are usually some great vendors and clubs represented. I was there for the new bikes, but I did manage to find some nice vintage stuff as well.
This is an XR750 owned by a small local museum; http://www.epopeedelamoto.com/epopee_en.asp?no=50
Two brothers who decided to open a museum to display their sizable collection. This bike was raced by Canadian legend Yvon DuHamel. I do plan on visiting the museum this summer.
There was a club pounding out '70s music and they had some real nice '70s bikes on display. This was the nicest...
